Due to its large walls, the house stays cool in summer. Few people pass
the house which is an oasis of quiet. You can stay in the sun in front of
the house without being disturbed.
The house is very well equipped (all dishes, cutlery...)

Les Montades is a tiny
village a few kilometers from Lac de Salagou, where you will find few
tourists. The lake has nice beaches and all sorts of watersports are
possible (except that motorised vessels are not allowed ). It is an
excellent place for families. The Salagou Lake is famous for its red stone
("ruffes") making it an inviting, unique and extraordinary
landscape. |
In the
village, there are no shops. All sorts of shops and supermarkets can be
found in the two neighbouring towns Bédarieux and Clérmont l'Hérault
(10-15 min. by car).
There is a big market in Bédarieux on Monday, in Clérmont L'Hérault on
Wednesday and one in Salasc/Salagou-Lake in summer. (Please get up
early in peak season!) |
